1) -Yes its a way of expressing yourself and how you feel about certain things with a can and some paint
2) -Yes look at it like this when your driving down the street and you see some painting on the wall you most likely look at it right? Now if that “Graffiti” has a good message and is in the right spot say downtown then tons of people will look at it and receive that message whether it be about peace equality or a corrupt system it gets put out there for everyone to see and enjoy
3) – No

7) In your opinion, what would be a good idea to solve the problem with graffiti? I think we should support it!
1) An art form if its done well and you can draw conclusions from it and its amazing. A bit annoying if its just a word or signature written on a wall of a council house making the area look grubby.
2) Yes. It makes you stop and look, in amsterdam there was this dude who put quotes all around the city, and it was seriously effective.
3) Nope, but i think id be pissed if it was like crap but not bothered if it was cool looking and colorful.
4) I love it to an extent. I love to see the big 3D words, and artistic pictures around, I think it gives a place character.
5) No, sorry.
6) YES. I would go more like money to paint over what you did community service a year max.
7) I guess a fine? Or pay those who do graffiti to do their artwork inside a huge building so people can go see it as an art form.
1) art form if done “artistically”; eyesore otherwise. There was this graffiti artist behind where I worked who drew (& colored) some of the most beautiful scenery pictures, etc. on this one building!
2) no
3) no
4) eyesore if it’s someone just writing sh!t; art form if done correctly.
5) no
6) yes
7) take all the wanna-be ‘taggers’ & enroll them in Art class. That way, they can learn to do it artistically, instead of always tagging buildings & turning them into the “eyesores” we see in most of our neighborhoods, nowadays.
If people were creating the graffiti on things that actually belonged to them, I doubt there would be such a ruckus made over it. As it stands, when someone paints on my belongings, with whatever it may be, I’m particularly POed and out the cash for repairing it.
1) That depends on what has been created and where.
2) No
3) Yes. Angry, because of the lack of respect while damaging my property and the money I will have to spend to remedy the problem. -Single mother who is a poor organic farmer here. Money is a rare commodity for me, although I’m NOT complaining-
4) Albeit there is beautiful graffiti, most of it isn’t positive.
5) Yes
6) Absolutely not, because if it is that person’s third time creating graffiti on someone else’s property they obviously need to be taught a lesson in respecting other’s belongings.
7) Education in other art forms for graffiti artists. Commission to graffiti acceptable buildings in acceptable places. It can be enjoyed, if done appropriately.
