Are the surveys you get paid for online safe for kids?

I recently read an article online naming a few unique ways children can make money. One of the ways was taking online surveys.

Are kids allowed to take them? Is it safe? Are there any risks?

What do you think of the survey site? Should I allow my sister to try it? (she’s 13).

No need to answer all the questions. I don’t want stupid answers. But I really do need to know more about this. If any one knows a young child who does this please let me know. And if you know any websites like this you suggest. This question is pretty much open to opinions, suggestions, and critiques about the subject.

    No!

  2. Hi there,

I have been doing surveys online for over 5 years now, during that time I have been a member of many survey panels and have been paid numerous times.

In my opinion 2 sites stand out above the rest, they being:
    http://www.survey-head.com
    http://www.cashcratesurveys.com

Both are easy to use and provide the opportunity to easily make an extra $100 to $200 per month, if nothing else they are worth having a look at to see what you think

    Good luck with your search.

  3. Most market research/paid survey sites require members to be at least 18, but some allow teens to join and take surveys and there are just a very few open for kids (6 -12 year old). Here is a list of survey sites that accept kids and teens http://mysurvey123.com/index.php/Free-Paid-Surveys-List/Kids-and-Teens-Free-Paid-Survey-Sites.html …good luck.

  4. Online paid surveys get a bad reputation since most people see all the scam sites that are out there. Most actual, legit survey sites don’t advertise at all like the ones that claim you can earn thousands of dollars do. There are actually several survey sites that are kid-friendly.

However, unless the kids are at least 13 years of age, they can’t do anything of the likes. You cannot use the internet to gain personal wealth until 13 years of age. At that point, there are a few possibilities.

For kids that are 13 or 14, go for swagbucks. It is totally safe and loads of fun. Hundreds of thousands of kids and teens use it. You don’t earn cash but you can earn gift cards, video games, and other stuff geared towards teens.

If you really want her to try a survey site, most don’t let you sign up until your 14. Any survey sites that have the minimum age limit at 13 will probable not be worth your time. Tell her that if she really wants to use surveys, wait until she’s 14.
