Phone Survey Scam?? HELP!?

Someone called me and told me that I was entered in a sweepstakes via the credit card company I’m with. Mind you, I only own a debit card. They said I had to answer a few questions. The questions were how old was I, what do I do in my spare time (I answered draw cartoons), and what my career was (I am a student). They did not ask for my SSN, my card number, or anything else. They said thank you and then the dude’s supervisor came on asking how well he did that he was new and I answered that he was polite. They then gave me my home address and asked if it was correct then said they’d send me a watch as thanks for doing the survey and then that was it. Have I been scammed? Is it possible for someone to steal my card without my SSN or card number?
I really think it was legit but my mother has got me all paranoid. Will my identity be stolen? Because you could GOOGLE my name and find out the information I gave them. Same with most of my friends…

What to do after survey scam gets my contact info?

I foolishly gave a “youtube” clone’s website my “shipping information” to send my free gift to. Now I am getting tons of emails and phone calls. How do I clean up this mess I’ve made. When I finally noticed it was a scam I hit cancel and removed my email from the site by clicking the unsubscribe button. However when I clicked it it said it would take 7-10 days to process, BS, that just gives them enough time to sell my info to all the scum. I entered my phone number on the government Do not call list, will this stop the phone calls? I am also removing myself from the mailing list from all the spam emails I’ve gotten. Is there anything else I can do?
Also, I didn’t enter any credit card info or any financial info for that matter. When it asked for it that is when I knew it was a scam. Am I still at risk for financial issues?

Moneygram and walmart survey scam?

So this guy wants me to do some surveying for him. now its pretty obvious that this is a scam. i’m just waiting for the mail to see if he sent a check (most likely), or actual cash. He emailed me his address for the moneygram to send to with the unique name, jonathan c. smith. My question is: can i do anything with the address he gave me that involves catching this guy? i checked it out on google maps and its definitely not a survey office.

facebook survey…scam?

so i went to sign on to facebook today, friday, sept 17. it asked me to take this survey on your satisfaction, so i did. then it asked me to pick a prize, a $1000 best buy gift card, a $1000 walmart gift card, or an ipad and itunes gift card. then it took me to this website (this was for the best buy, but its different for each prize)

so what exactly is this? is it a scam? why is facebook doing this to me???

How come that whenever you want to stream something online nowdays some *******’s try to get you to fill out some survey scam? Are they making money from it somehow or do they just like annoying people? This is quite a new phenomenon since I never used to get this problem a few years ago.
@J: I see but how can they expect good feedback when they trap people into doing it and then lie about letting you watch afterwards?

Internet Survey…. Scam or not a scam.?

I took an Internet Survey by IPSOS for one of my credit cards. They enrolled me in a raffle to win 250 dollars for completing the survey. I won the raffle, and received the check in the mail. Does this sound like a scam? Can they get any of my information if I cash the check?

Has anyone else fallen into the survey scam traps?

I tried a few surveys a while back, (not knowing what the results would be) and now I get a hundred e-mails every day. I never recieved what was promised to me I guess because the survey goes on and on and on and on and when you finaly get to the end you get caught up in some kind of loop so you can’t finish. I’ve done this several times (for a lack of better judgement)and now I’m totally turned off to the whole process of survey scams!
