Online scammers answering yahoo questions?

I recently asked about being paid for online surveys, and I received a few answers with links, When i checked the websites out, they were those tacky websites with generic layouts…another dead give away for scammers. Do you think they actually search through questions to promote scams?

Got scammed !!! Please help?

My poor in laws fell for a scam. They got 5,000 dollar check in the mail and said that they won 100,000 from those surveys you fill out at walmart. So they deposited the check and they told them to pay back 2,000 for taxes. The checked cleared from the bank and all but today they said they need another 1,500 to pay customs, so when they went to the bank to take the money and that’s when they found out it was scam. They filed a police report but they seem to have other things to worry about, is there anything else they can do.
Well the scammers send the 5,000 dollar check and said to get the 100,000 dollar they need to pay taxes and customs with the 5,000. It is confusing. we were telling them that it didnt sound right but they went on with it.
We are definately showing sympathy we feel awful to there hearts broken like this they are good people and difinatelt dont deserve this.

I have seen the movie online people, alright. So please don’t bagger me about not paying. I just want to see a certain part in it again, so I have been searching and searching and can’t find it. They all seem to be scams so I’ll take those dumb surveys.

Can someone please send me a link WITH OUT surveys or scams? If I see a survey, trust me I will not take it. So scammers don’t bother trying.

There is alot of priviate info that these companies are asking for. Is there really any survey company out there that is trustworthy or are they all scammers?

Help! Will I be a victim of a fake check scam from this free survey site I signed up for?

I’ve been trying to find ways to earn money online. I ran into so many scams–I’m disappointed that the FTC or the BBB isn’t doing enough to take these scammers offline. Anyway, I found something that does sound legitimate. I won’t get rich right away, but I’m still skeptical. The site’s called Inboxdollars.com. I signed up for free, and get paid like 50 cents for each survey, complete free offers, read paid emails, and got a $5 sign up bonus. So far they credited a total of $9.44 to my membership account. For payment, I can request it by check in the mail (I have to make at least $30 to get a payment), no paypal account required. I’m extremely hesitant about these checks though, like I’m so scared that they’re gonna be fake. What should I do once I earned enough to get my first payment? Should I cancel my membership with them right now and shred any checks I get? Should I present these checks to my bank to find out rather or not it’s fake? How can I tell if checks are fake? If it’s a scam, I’m gonna report them asap. How can I find out if Inboxdollars is accredited with the BBB?
