I want to have some money of my own really bad so I can go to the mall and for other stuff like shoes
I am 14
I’ve tried looking for a babysitting job online, at church, in family, asking people-and advertising-NOTHING-Nobody needs a babysitter!

I’ve tried applying to bag groceries-NOTHING people think you’re dumb because you’re 14 and they don’t call you back and my dad doesn’t want me doing that-he says I’m too young

My parents don’t give me an allowance-I don’t think they’ll pay me for chores really. I tried that before and there’s not much chores because my mom does all that. Just don’t suggest that idea.

All those kiddie jobs like dogwalking and lawncare-I don’t live in a subdivision so I can’t really do much of that and my neighbors are weird and I don’t want their $

I need the money but, they won’t pay up and every time that I ask they say that they will get it to me, but I know it won’t happen unless I nag them and then they will complain and call me a whiner. I need to buy groceries for next week for work and i don’t get paid weekly.

Just would like to know peoples’ opinions! I’m renting to a friend and I feel like I’m on hold while everything else is getting paid besides me and it’s almost every month. Paid in full 2 out of 5 times. More to it but confused! Being very good to them and didn’t charge deposit or first month’s rent. Have gone out of my way to help and feel like I can’t any more.

I’ve been needing to make money and I want to get out in the real world, y’know, help my mom pay the house/hospital bills, buy the groceries, my own school clothes so she won’t have to waste her money, and spoil my sister. Its not like I make alot of money babysitting for in-laws. My husband earns a living. I just babysit for cash to buy our food. He earns enough to pay the bills, but not much left after that. Now if I have to pay taxes on the little I make from babysitting—————-well I guess I won’t be buying groceries.

my question is this: where do you live in the U.S. and how much do you pay for basic food staple items like milk, eggs, cheddar, canned beans, sliced bread, specific produce, etc? Do you think the area you live is price-gouging when it comes to groceries? or do you get a good deal? also, include whether you shop at a membership store like Costco, or a conventional supermarket.
