Online Jobs ( not scams)?

ok so here is my dilemma. I am going to start working this summer, I’m 17 and will probably be getting a part time job somewhere. I for sure will be doing translating on the side for some money,(but not a ton). But I want something I can also do from home. I’ve been hearing of all of these companies that’ll pay you for taking surveys or testing out products. I would be willing to do that except that is almost seems like a scam. Any companies that I can test out to see how they are? And please only refer those companies that you have personally used and have had positive feedback from and a positive experience with them. much appreciated!!!!

One Response to “Online Jobs ( not scams)?”

  1. Honestly, I have looked, and to this day I have had email scams, lottery scams, ebay/google selling scams, and flooded inboxes in my email address all because I tried to look for legit online opportunities!

They are very hard to find. I will tell you this, if it were as simple as answering a few surveys-being honest or just randomly clicking on answers-don’t you think everyone would be quitting their jobs and staying home working in their pjs? Never pay to “join” a site or “business”…when have you ever had to pay an employer prior to working there- or ever for that matter?!?! Those are scams for sure!! As far as the ‘testing products’, do you think a company is going to send you a sample of their product (which costs them $) and wait for you to reply with a simple “i like it/i hate it” answer and then pay you for it?!?! Never heard of a legit one of those either!

The best way to look for online jobs is to look under “telecommuting”, which is what companies do to have at-home reps. There really arent that may jobs out there, since they get filled pretty quickly as you can immagine and you may have to be put on a waiting list.

Best advice I can give you- if it sounds too good to be true, then it is!!!! Bill Gates and all these other wealthy people didnt get rich by testing products or answering questions…sorry to burst your bubble!!
