There are legit online jobs, but you have to jump through a few more hoops to get them. I have a couple of relatives who work online. You can go to sites like QVC, hotels sites, etc.. and check around for applying for a job with them. There is usually a place where you can apply to be a call taker. There is usually a brief training and then you sign in to work certain hours. Basically, when people call in to order something they saw on tv, they might be calling you or some other person working off their home computer. You read off your computer screen everything you are supposed to say and ask.. then take the caller's info and order... place the order.. and wait for the next call. You have to work a lot to earn the extra money... and you won't get rich doing this... but, it keeps my 2 relatives' heads above the water. Me? I made my own business. I am a freelance editor.
