In my opinion, some music is worth buying, but i believe music has the right to be free. Bands who are in need of money should really make their money buy gigs, shows, and tours. Most record companies rip artists off, anyway.

I think people should pay to download music. I mean, Britney Spears isn’t exactly hurting for money, but if someone wants to have one of her songs, they should still pay for it. Musicians are performing a job, and part of their money is earned on the sale of their songs.
I don’t think free downloading is a horrendous epidemic that must be dealt with swiftly, but I think that as a matter of good sense people should just pay for the songs.
Those record producers are all getting dirty Sanchezes over this…they need to just chill down a moment
and chit-ily check themselves before they wreck themselves.
Smoke em if you got em. If you want to do it then do it. It’s stealing, but honestly who cares? No one’s hurting anyone.
No im not against paying for music. My opinion and its just an opinion is, that the stuff that i really want is worth buying.
We all know that there are specific songs we like but the rest of the album is crap. so buying an individual song is at least become an option.
Now when it comes to music that is no longer available. like something that is out of print. I dont see a problem downloading it. it may technically but illegal but, if I want to buy it but its not being sold anymore then I dont personally see an issue with it.
The music industry could have done themselves a huge favor when the original napster became an issue. they should have bought it from the guy instead of fighting it.
I say do these things at your own risk, a lot of this illegal torrent stuff can screw up your computer. I tried downloading torrents once………they slowed down my computer, not to mention they didnt even work.
Since I’m older I have some ideas that don’t seem to be valued much lately. I work for what I earn and I pay for what I have.
Studio time, equipment, technicians, etc. aren’t free so why should the music they help produce be free? Music companies ripping off artists tells us a lot about the smarts of the artists and their agents and lawyers.
