PAID SURVEY: Do they really exist?
Hey my friend’s mother said she used to do surveys online for Home and Garden and she earned like $1,500.00 in one month. I have been looking and looking and cannot find any websites that seem legitimate. Can anyone help me that has had “legit” experiences? I am trying to find several ways to save up for a 2007 or 08′ Red Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited.

No, I’ve not come across one yet that is legitimate. I do know people who have experience in particular area’s and can have calls routed to their homes or computers and for every correct solution, or answer they get paid only .5 to .6 cent. I’d get a job at BK save up for the down payment and get a cosighner. Good-luck
Actually yes, there are some legit companies that will pay you to do online surveys. Now, you will not make that much money a month. At the most you will get 5 bucs for a survey and that’s if you even qualify to complete it. Plus winning the sweepstakes is highly unlikely. You will have to sign up w/ several companies if you want to get a good income.
Paid surveys(legit ones that is) are questionaires that marketing firms use. Companies often spend lots of money on advertisments, and try to get a population sample of opinions. So they hire a marketing firm to do a survey, and as a thanks they will pay you for your participation. Even then, unless you work for them professionally(i.e. actually work for the company, the firm owner is your boss), you wont even be getting 500 extra bucs a month.
Everynow and then you may get a survey that plays you like 25 bucs or more, but they are usually atleast an hour long(the avarage for a survey is about 30 minutes) and may require you do some work off the computer(and answer a survey on that, it’s usually trying a products or something).
Go to surveyclub.com, that’s a list of some that are legit
Personally I do surveyspot, ACOP(American Consumer Opinion), Opinion Square, and Toluna(formerly your2cents).
You might get some extra spending cash but you won’t get anywhere NEAR what those claims are telling you. Those are false. Often after signing up for one of those, you just get a set of links that are inacurated and outdated. And if you ask for a refund, some will just flat out tell you no. Others will ignore your email, and then others will just close the site before their participants can even complain. (there have also been cases of companies claiming to pay a client for a particular survey and closing the site prior to paying the participant).
So your answer is yes, legit companies do exist, but you have to dig. You need to investigate. If it’s one you have to pay to join, it’s 98 times out of 100 it’s going to be a scam.
I worked hard for 2 solid weeks. They Promise a lot of money. but I never saw a penny, Typically after taking a long survey, you have to pick a gift you might want, of course you’ve got to sign up for a mastercard or something, another thing is when you sign up for surveys your email gets clogged up with spam, it’s like a huge web, the people that offer money for surveys are In cahoots with other surveyors. You can take many, many surveys, but like I said, I never got any money or prizes in the mail.
Most of these are really scam and the good ones are being bashed as scams by people with unrealistic expectations. Most people think that when they enroll they will make thousands. This is not the case, these are extra income opportunities – not get rich schemes.
As a rule of thumb to keep in mind when you are researching – go for the big web portals and the ones that have been around for years. That’s enough time for a company to prove that it is legit and that it pays it’s users.
