Is being paid to take surveys on the internet safe?
I took a survey on facebook and on the side panal where the advertisements are there was an ad about being paid to take surveys about consumer products online. whats the catch? is this safe? I don.t want my identity stolen haha.

Hi Xwish, Before you go about doing anything like that try a little research on the company. Open up a new account with gmail or someone like that . but most of all don’t give out your details ,best to find someone who has done it before that you can trust. All the best. Rab
I looked into it one time and didn’t think it was worth it. Never give out any personal info anyway, and just set up a “SPAM” email address. One that you don’t use. You have to take so many surveys for sooooo little $. Don’t waste your time. Before you try anything online, I suggest you google the company and do some research on your own. It’s not hard. Just type in search “Is ______ company legit”.

Just remember, you will not get rich taking online surveys, you cannot even make a decent living. All you will get is a little extra pocket money, some gift cards and some (usually) cheap Chinese-made merchandise.
Any site that claims you can make a LOT of money doing online survey is a scam. Any site that wants money to get surveys for you is a scam.
