At 13, your options are severely limited. You’re looking at lawn mowing, paper routes and things like that.
may be a news paper seller/ paper boy? u could sell candy or maybe you could see if any one is looking for a volunteer that may be will pay you for your time offering? i hope i helped
you could try babysitting or doing odd jobs for people like painting, cutting grass, dog walking or landscaping. or you could try looking on craigslist for random jobs, the gigs section is for people to post jobs that are usually under the table type of work (like helping someone move, clean or teaching someone who to learn photoshop) where they can hire you without being the legal age to work because these jobs pay cash and don’t require a social security number.
You can look into local restaurants like pizza places. Also go to stores and ask if they’ll hire you. In Cali I can work at Lamp Post Pizza (washing dishes) or Wild Rivers (passing out the floatie thingis or working at the lost and found). It just depends on whats near you. Make sure to ask localy owned places too! (places that aren’t chain restaurants/stores.)
If you can’t work at a shop go around your comunity and see if anyone needs their lawn mowed, pool cleaned, house cleaned, dogs walked, kids babysat, ect. Be creative!
Hope this helps!
you can work for me. im a up comeing dj you can help me promote shows or help me with the music stuff.
In additon to all the great answers you’ve had so far, I’d like to add to this…
If you do decide to do lawn mowing or any other job, why not take it to a higher level of thinking… For example, you can get a few of the kids in your neighborhood together, you negotiate some of the business with your neighbors, find out how much they’d pay, then you put some of you friends to work and take a few change as your own profit. That way, you begin to learn what it’s like having employees, and being the boss.
If you do all the work, you get all the pay. If they do all the work, you pay them and take may be $2.00 – $5.00 as your own, and for repairs on the tools. How’s that sound? The only thing I’d like to stress is that you treat your neighbor as yourself.
All the best!
