You get paid per survey, and you must generate a certain amount of money (it think it was $20) before they will send you a check. The kicker is that once I made $18, or so, the pay out per survey dropped to a few cents. I don't think its possible to get to the $20 line. And now I get all sorts of exciting and fun spam. The only online surveys that might be useful are from hotels that you have stayed at or restaurants that offer you a chance to win an iPod or something for answering their customer survey or something. But you have to watch out about getting added to a mailing list with those. Yep, they are all scams.
