  2. Most of the online surveys ask your participation in their surveys and the payment is made by points, which is not worthy for the work done.

  3. Yep, they are all scams. The only online surveys that might be useful are from hotels that you have stayed at or restaurants that offer you a chance to win an iPod or something for answering their customer survey or something. But you have to watch out about getting added to a mailing list with those.

  4. I have tried cash crate, and it is a scam. You get paid per survey, and you must generate a certain amount of money (it think it was $20) before they will send you a check. The kicker is that once I made $18, or so, the pay out per survey dropped to a few cents. I don’t think its possible to get to the $20 line.

    And now I get all sorts of exciting and fun spam.

  5. they list some legitimate sites at stackchange.com and that site also reviews the sites so you know what to expect.

  6. There are a lot of scams, but you want to make sure you’re dealing with sites that are legit, such as companies. Top 10 lists like findmysurveys have a huge reputation online.

    Remember, you won’t get rich doing these surveys, but you can make a few bucks each month to maybe go out to eat, or pay a bill =]

  7. Here is a comprehensive list of many legitimate, free, paying survey sites. I personally use all of these and get paid! By paying – I mean cash, paypal, gift certificates and prizes. NOT sweepstakes and entries into drawings. I feel like those are a waste of time since your chances of winning are so small that you are basically doing surveys for free.
