Capitalist – Wavecage
Featuring the poetry of a drug addict who steals your instruments and hocs them, this preview was a lounge room live practise stereo recording plus extra guitar added later with Audacity (we didn’t know it would be used xD). J=nd=lui on guitar, Janus on bass/vocal (live), Stinio on drums (live). The song I wrote 20 years ago or so, but I would like to add some new verses and I have several different versions of this tune now. Janus added some lyrics and some chorus on this version, which imho are much better than the originals, though some didn’t come out right lol, as it was really a practise for a new drummer to get used to the song. Now the poet from the video has taken my instrument and acoustic-electric pick-up and studio equipment and the drummers’ guitar case into hoc to feed his habit. I don’t know what to do, cos I feel like I have lost everything I am so full of hate, but then I also know its just a material possession and that is not what hurts so much makes me want to hurt in return, it is that he was my friend, I was paying him (set up and paid for their internet and paid cash down as well as monthly internet) and his family to look after it, he said “dont worry, nothing will happen to it” and then he sold it, yet he still has his expensive deer heads on his wall and swords and expensive trinkets and knick-knacks, tools, machinery, laptop computers, zillions of records and dvds, but he just had to take my stuff – which makes it personal attack of hate upon me …
