My husband got fooled by a marketing company that said go online to enter competitions. It turned out to be an online marketing company wanting to get free information on all different products and he paid to give them the information. Sick!
In Australia we have market research companies that bring people from different demographics together to provide feedback about products. People get paid when they attend and its a way of weeding out the shonky online surveys that seem to be out there.
